Years of Experience - 3 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product suitable for broadcasting/streaming

• Work closely with creative teams to realize the vision for each project

• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film

• Create rough and final cuts

• Insert music, dialogues, and sound effects

• Apply color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects

• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to determine the vision and approach for projects

• Keep up to date with industry trends and new editing technologies

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film, Video Production, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)

• Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and other post-production software

• Strong creative and storytelling skills

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A portfolio demonstrating your video editing skills

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, After Effects)

• Experience with color grading and audio mixing

• Knowledge of video codecs and file formats

• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects

• Understanding of 4K and HD video production workflows
